Logo competition for the 62^nd Croatian-North American Soccer Tournament now open

The Croatian Jadran Soccer Club Ottawa is excited to launch a community-wide competition to create a logo for the 62nd Croatian-North American Soccer Tournament taking place in Ottawa in September 2026. This is the first time since 1987 that Ottawa has been honoured with hosting this event that brings together 24 teams from across Canada and the U.S.

The challenge is simple: to craft a symbol that reflects the heart of our club—heritage, unity, and the passion that fuels every match. We’re looking for a design that not only celebrates the spirit of the tournament but also honours the people who make it possible: our players, our supporters, and our vibrant community.

How to win

Come up with a logo keeping in mind the following guidelines:

• Be creative and design an original logo that represents the tournament.
• Include text “62nd Croatian-North American Soccer Tournament“ and “Ottawa 2026”.
• Logo must work in full colour and black & white.
• Must be a vector file and legible at variable sizes, including small applications.
• Easy to reproduce across print, digital, jerseys and signage.

Top submissions will be open for community voting later in December (designs will be anonymous during the voting period) – with the goal of ringing in 2026 with the unveiling of the new tournament logo!

How to submit your logo design

Please present your submission on a single 8.5 x 11 letter-size page (300 dpi, max 10 MB - accepted file types: pdf, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff.). Please include the following:

• Tell us about your concept (just 2–3 sentences).
• Showcase primary logo usage: full-colour logo (on white background)
• A simple colour palette (max 3-4 colours) with colour values (HEX, RGB & CMYK).
• Font(s) used, confirming they are licensed or free for marketing/commercial use.
